Bitching Post: Latin

I know I have one other post on here but this technically counts as my first one because even though there were a lot of words in the last one it doesn't mean I actually said anything. Which is mostly true about anything I write but at least in my head from now on I am going to think I am saying things.
I feel there should be some kind of disclaimer somewhere on here but I am sure if you have the ability to make it as far as my page you are of the mind to be able to read what big people have to say.
I am pretty sure someone far cleverer than I came up with "The Bitching Post" and so if they claim credit for it they can have it. But until then it will be the main title of my blog.
OK. here we go, Latin! I'm tired of it. Actually I am tired of most languages (even English) but that is for another day. "Carpe Diem, Seize the Day" There are a few things I hate about this phrase. For one, these are probably two of maybe six words of Latin anyone ever bothers to learn. Second, the people who say this feel clever because not only did they go so far out of their way to learn two words of someone else's language, but they also get the added benefit of assuming you are too stupid to know what it means, so they must immediately translate it for you. Who doesn't feel better knowing someone else is stupider? Third there is only one reason to do such a sub-par job learning a language; to ask where the bathroom is. Other than that you either learn the whole damn thing or shut up and use English.
